What happens when the past enters a place of refuge?
Brandon, a Ugandan LGBTQ+ activist, escapes persecution and finds support in Toronto. When a newcomer with a connection to his past arrives, his sense of safety gives way to questions of forgiveness, justice and personal growth.
Drawing on lived experience, the film explores the challenges and resilience of LGBTQ+ refugees.
